I'm already looking forward to this. They always do a fantastic job with festivities in the Abingtons. I might just have to enjoy some hot cocoa and some sweet potato fries from State Street Grill while I'm up there.

Is this worth traveling out for? That is unless I'm in South Carolina that week. Might visit the b/f's daddy then.

It's only really worth it if you live here or within a 2 hour drive I would say...

Agreed. Clarks Summit is a great place with a lot of nice little festivals, but they're just that---little festivals. I never quite understood how a place as popular as Clarks Summit developed such a tiny downtown. If it were bigger it would be like Lackawanna County's version of Honesdale, Tunkhannock, or Jim Thorpe. I'm only about 20-minutes south in Pittston, so I'm hopefully going to be able to make the short trip up for a great time, and maybe I'll take a picture of the sweet potato fries I hope to be savoring again at the State Street Grill?! coartist88, will there be a hot chocolate station anywhere? If not, then that would be a good suggestion to pitch to your borough manager neighbor!
