Default Vote!

Reminder that polls are open from 7AM to 8PM. If you're in line by 8PM, you have the right to vote.

If you're not sure where to vote, you can look up your polling place here:
https://www.pavoterservices.state.pa...PlaceInfo.aspx

Cheers and good luck!

Polls have been open for 10 minutes now-- anyone vote already?

I'm going to try to go around 10:30 and hoping for a short line around that time. I feel like I've been wiating for this day forever. No matter what happens today, the Bush years are almost over. It feels a little like the sun is coming up for the first time in a long time.

Let's hope so. A vote for McCain is basically a vote for Bush.

Doh, I was thinking the same thing-- go earlyish but avoid the pre-work voters and the lunchtime voters. I hope everyone's not planning the same thing.

Well, I just got back. About a 15 minute trip in total, including driving! One of the joys of living in the middle of nowhere. We filled out paper ballots, on little card tables in the back of the local grange hall. Now, back to watching the turkeys turn this year's garden leftovers into next years fertilizer and waiting for the results.

Lots of people it seems are not hitting the GREEN vote button to close out their vote.
Anyone with the newer machines, please remember to do that.
Someone before SWB did not, and someone before me did not..............
In fact I gave it a second thought also, because last year the vote was counted upon leaving.
Make sure your vote counts..........
We got right in at 8AM, I understand a bit earlier there were long lines.
But not one person before me............Hurray!
Except the guy with a different inital in his name who got to that machine and did not push the GREEN button........

I am so proud of our poll place. Last year there was just two lines by alphabet.........
This year there is four lines, and four booths. I think we had three last year.
This makes for a much better flow of people.
If people just knew to push the VOTE button..........Please, Please.........or your vote is not registered.

Voted this morning here in Virginia. Largest crowds I have ever seen. I moved down here in 1979 after leaving NEPA. I had to wait an hour and a half - that was down from the first voters - they had over a 2 hour wait at opening today..and this is in the rain too.
