Hi PP!! Snow....BAH!! Tonite's the 3rd night it's going in the 40's down here & I'm already sick of cold!!!

I just checked my Ebay items...I've got 6 items up for sale (so I can spend the money up in NEPA next month & help your economy) & there's 29 people watching them, but not a one bid!!! I think they all wait 'til the last 2 minutes of the auction to bid...(sigh)

Depending on the selling, we'll see if, when I'm up in NEPA, I buy 1 pierogi or 6 dozen!!

That is pretty cool. You know was your grandparents house the one on the corner?? I remember seeing a few kids there through the years.

The house on the corner had the beautiful grotto with the Blessed Mother in it...real big I remember. No...it was the one past the alley from that corner. I think only about 2 house down. We didn't get to visit that much being from NY then.

LOL!! Now it's 33 watchers...no bids yet.

I found 2 old 18"x30" "centerpiece" parts (from larger church stained glass windows from England) & today I have to clean them up. I'm taking them Monday to a guy here to build 4" deep "cabinets" around them. I'm gonna rig up fluorescent lights in each one (so they're lit from behind) & mount them on the wall on either side of the bed. (the bedroom's got a "gothic" thing going on...)

We've also got an old 1800's bible on a gothic stand, so I found an old gothic hanging "lantern" with colored glass panels to go above it. I cleaned it up & rewired it, so today we've got to mount the "holder" on the wall into the wall-studs to support the lamp's weight.

It's finally starting to warm up here, so after that it's "work in the jungle" time...

Just a note for anyone who might be up that way. Skytop is having a Arts and Crafts show.
It will be the Saturday after Thanksgiving. 9AM to closing about 4PM. The Woodcarvers, which will include Mr Summering will be downstairs at Skytop....Its a side room that has glass doors that will be opened. The ony time they are not there is when they attend lunch around 12. ( not sure if someone isn't then watching over the things for the carvers)
Its a fun day for the visitors. I use to go just to explore this beautiful place. So even those that will enjoy the Arts Show, please stop by the Woodcarvers and enjoy the Cane, Santas, and other wonderful things. I bought a beautiful handmade rolling pin that I love, it has purple woods in it and whites, reds.......just gorgeous. Many love the crosses, or the plates.
Just a little snow in the air would be nice.........getting everyone in the spirit.
Be sure to tell Mr Summering who you are..........I think he knows just about everyone here now..........

Does anyone know of a house with a garage available for rent for 1 month starting in late Dec in the Hideout?

If so please send me an email or pm with and for details.
