Domino Nabiiiis-coooo!!! LOL!! Can y'all picture me as a priest!!??!! (I DO look good in black though...)

Well, I woke up late at 7AM today & figured I'd do something special for my b'day....ended up tearing apart the toilet in the guest bathroom for 3 hours & relacing the wax-ring to stop it from leaking... ....guess THAT'S special...

Some people go out to dinner, some people go to a spa....I rip apart toilets!! Think they broke the mold with me....

Happy Birthday, JG!

Isn't home ownership fun sometimes? I have a bathroom sink that's calling my name to get it unstuck. Maybe this weekend I'll clean out the trap. Brushing my teeth in the kitchen is getting to be a little weird.

Thanks LIAC!! Yep...with house ownership it's ALWAYS something!! Still costs less (at least for us) than renting!!

When we were staying with our friends in Lawn Gisland (who live in a nice neighborhood), I always stood outside in the morning with a cup of coffee to smoke a cigarette. I wore "lounge" pants (look like PJ's) with socks & my sandals on. We were joking that the neighbors were gonna think they were starting up section 8 housing!!

I just got a package from them with a new coffee mug, pack of cigarettes & new lounge pants in case I ran out!! Gotta love 'em!!

Where in Lawn GuyLand? Some places here pj bottoms or sweat pants are the norm, but mostly on the women. I've seen teenage girls shopping in Kohls in pj bottoms and slippers! But I'm in Rocky Point, not the Hamptons or Belle Terre. I'm sure there's a different daily dress code there!

They live in Carle Place. (don't ask me where it is...L.I.'s like Fla, flat as a pancake & half the time I didn't know if I was going N/S/E or W!!!) Bill took me to see where he grew up (around Ronkonkoma) & we spent a few hours walking around Sayville (really pretty village). Everyone we came in contact with was really nice & friendly!! (which kinda surprised me since all I read on the NY forums is how rude & mean L.I. folks are!!)

By the end of the 5 days we were there I was saying "Oh my Gawd!! I needa cuppa cawfee"!!! (now I sound like Bill's mom!!)

Thanks LIB!! I started pressure washing the walkways, but it started raining so I think I'll just kick back now...

I think we're gonna go to Cracker Barrel later for dinner...we ate at one in NC by the hotel we stayed in (first time I was ever in one) & I'm IN LOVE with their dumplings & mac/cheese!!

Aha! So that's why you're so special, JG! We are almost birthday twins. I just passed another mile stone on Saturday. Better than passing a kidney stone I guess.

I don't rip toilets apart any more. The last time I did that I had to call a plumber. I was soooo close to gettin' it, but then I gave the little connecting pipe a whack....well, the little connecting pipe was not happy. I just fidget around in the tank now.

I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures of your windows. I realllly love that kind of stuff.

We are flying outta this cold on Thursday morning. I'm not crazy about flying in bad weather. We leave from Scranton....to Philly....and on south. The weather here is saying a high of 11 degrees/low of 0 degrees with wind and snow on Thursday a.m. I gotta find my big girl hat. If I can hide a bottle of wine in it, I might be OK.

Ain't it the truth. My son got a pair of PJ's for XMas, doesn't everybody, lovely tartan I might add, and wore them when he went out for the afternoon. LOL

Happy Birthday rockky!!! I see you turned the tender age of 22 also!! We Capricorns are the old goats of the zodiac!!

I hate spending mucho bucks on a household job that I can do...(I learned years ago not to whack any pipes...)

I have to let the windows dry more...it's very humid today & the stain is still tacky...

Where south are you going?? That type of cold to me is actually painful!! When I was up in NEPA it was 2 w/a windchill of -14....I was like to curl up in a ball & die!!
