Default Trivia For The Day...

Do you know what happened this week back in 1850, 159 years ago?

California became a state.

The State had no electricity.

The State had no money.

Almost everyone spoke Spanish.

There were gunfights in the streets.

So basically, it was just like it is today, except the
women had real breasts and the men didn't hold hands....

Do you all know that Office Max is closing...........I got notice from their banking people yesterday.
I called to see what was up as I know I didn't mess up anything personally.
Yep, she told me the Office Max is closing........I really liked buying from them at no interest too!
I always caught the sales........Another one down.

From what I gathered when I spoke with her........"Office Max is closing" was her words.
I have an Office Max card, it has a great credit limit. I knew my score was great, and I paid ahead and more then asked for. I suppose I could use the card anywhere, anytime........except.
The bank is ending the cards......
I got very nervous and checked the accounts this morning, my credit pages, etc.........
Then I called to talk with the bank who does the cards for them......
She said I still have the good credit, its just that Office Max is closing.
I imagine its all of them........otherwise wouldn't they just let me keep the card to use at another store or place........They gave me more credit then I'd of ever used.
I bought two computers there and I never had a bit of interest charged or had any issues with them at all...........

I'll have to keep that in mind. There's one about 30 minutes from me, and I could use some new stuff for my home office if they have a going out of business sale. I never saw a lot of people in there, most people go to Staples or order online around here for office supplies.

Default Nothing Like Spontaneity!!

Well, Bill's b'day is a month away & I've been wondering what to get him...

I saw a commercial on "specials" for Fl residents, so now we're on our way back up to St. Augustine NEXT WEDNESDAY!!! (we were just up there w/friends in Feb...)

We're staying at The St. Francis Inn, which is the oldest in St. Augustine & yet again...haunted!! (we'll see if our camera acts nutzo again...)

We've always wanted to stay there, but they book up so fast & far ahead of time, we never got a chance to. It was a choice of next week or September, (I don't like to go away during hurricane season...) so off we're going...

On the way home, we're gonna go check up on his mom in Gainesville too.

Here's the link to the place...
