Never cared much for Genesis. I was a singer for years, so I "go" for the vocals as opposed to the instruments more. Never cared for Genesis' vocalist.

Not that I'm aware of, unless it's for the radio or TV stuff she's doing & that's studio, not concert venue. She was asked to play Japan, Britain, Brazil, Germany & other countries, but I don't think she wants to start another world tour now...it's really hard work & she's concentrating on her painting more. But with Annie, ya never know...she's a Gemini...
I have to agree Annie is in a league of her own...Phil Collins does not hold a candle to her voice. However Genesis was a great group...in the Classical rock venue...though Renaissance defined classical rock.

If you understand the technicality of voice, not many people come close to her. But her voice is not the "commercial" type like a "Carrie Underwood" or "Phil Collins".

Her fan base worldwide is made up of more "deep-thinking", "evolved", "spiritual" type people basically...not the average "Joe" on the street...

Speak of the devil, she just emailed me this with a pix of Winnie & Piglet & I don't get it....must be that dry Brit humor again!!

As the two friends wandered through the snow on their way home, Piglet grinned to himself, thinking how lucky he was to have a friend like Pooh.

Pooh thought to himself; "if the pig sneezes, he's f...in dead"!

Oh wait...it must be a "swine flu" thing!!

Default Glad I Stayed Home!!

I got a call from Bill last night. He had to go to a wedding somewhere east of Tampa. I decided to stay home 'cause it was easier all around with the dog & stuff...THANK GOD!!!!

What a hoot!! It's the wedding of his friend's daughter. His friends are from Lawn Gisland, & the groom's family is from some backwoods place in north Florida....

The groom's family hates anyone from NY automatically 'cause they're "NYers", & his friend's family thinks the groom's family is a "buncha hillbilly hicks"....

Well, at the "reception" (in the mobile home park) the beer was flowing freely at the pig roast, the mothers-in-law came to blows, the confederate flag was proudly waving in the wind, guns were brought out at some point, & the newly-married couple's baby got sick...

There's a LOT more, but this gives y'all an "overview" of the festivities!!!

I am SO glad I stayed home!!
