Hi Guys and Gals,

This is the first time we used a professional photographer for the holidays. I was really impressed with Tom Duncan from the Lumberyard Shops in Milford. We also did a family portrait. He is really good with children and we even brought the dog. Who is your favorite photographer in the area and why?

I really didn't like any of the professional photographers we used for the three weddings........
None would let go of the plan of "set in stone" have to have certain photos.
They have that list and they follow it. All of my girls and myself like the casual photos, the ones taken by surprise. Every single photographer said, " people say that, but they don't buy them"........
Not true. We have loved the ones we took ourselves.......My neice liked our casual photos, and also hated her photographers down south Jersey either.
I'm delighted that you found a good one..........that is just fantastic to know.

Tom Duncan also did the school photos for SES. They didn't look too bad except both of my kids had "yucky" noses and my daughter had hair in her face. I had them retake hers but my little guy was out sick for the retakes. I may have to call and see what they can do.

I highly recommend Tom. He offers re-takes if pictures are taken in school You can go to the studio where he retakes them. A real nice guy too.............

I recently had my family portrait done by Tom Duncan. What a FANTASTIC experience. We went to his farm next to Mt. Haven and had an outdoor photo shoot in the tall grass with the trees and the pond in the background in October at the peek of the Fall season. We had an hour with him and we did so many different variations of photos, we even brought the in-laws and the dog. I just picked up our HUGE family portrait. It looks so amazing! He can do subtle touch-ups and airbrushing. His prices are very reasonable. You are even able to order more photos later on if you like if you are not able to buy everything at once. He also did my son's school picture at SES. We could not be happier. I would suggest having your photos done with him on his property. He has so much land with ponds, bridges and beautiful trees, the colors are spectacular. All of my friends had their wedding photos taken by Tom Duncan and they are beautiful with a lot of beautiful classic candid shots. If you are looking for a videographer, try Masterpiece Video. She put together an awesome video of my friends wedding set to music. It looks just like a real movie. We had a video viewing party and we were all crying at the end, it was beautiful!-
