Ridiculously cheap NEPA restaurant discounts!!!
OK...I admit...I hang out on the food and drink forum a lot too! And I have found a tip that I want to share!!!!!
There is a web-site couponmom.com....
Register to that web-site for updates!
The most frequent update they e-mail me is a promotional code for
Restaurant.com...
Certificates normally cost only $10.00 for a $25.00 certificate...the most recent promotional code is 'SURPRISE', which saves you 80% (Yes, I said EIGHTY!) off of that $10.00.
So...$25.00 costs $2.00 (Yes, I said TWO!)
Some have stipulations such as a minimum purchase of $35.00 or $50.00, eat in only.
We recently dined at the Sterling Inn....it was lovely...until the skunk came but I digress.....

Another place to get 1/2 price certificates is .....
Pahomepage.com
click on 'marketplace'...then click on 'deal of the day'....
Most of the places happen to be in the Hamlin area, but Amore in Clarks Summit is on there, The Stadium Club, and Cafe Classico in Moscow...
This was posted by someone else here on this forum awhile ago...so I can't take the credit for that find, but I know there are some new people to the Hamlin Area, so I wanted to pass it along!

You were just dying to use that emoticon, weren't you JG??
Hey...this coupon goes by ZIP codes so you can use it too! Just wanted to make my post relevant to NEPA without it getting moved!
Where do I download those cute emoticons??

Thanks for the info. This is something that I will use. Love to save money, and I am reading it right. You buy a gift certificate for lets say 20 dollars and its value is 40 dollars at the restaurant? Sorry a little slow tonight, lol.

I just spent about $23 for certificates from 8 restaurants in DE and PA. Man, I hope this doesn't turn out to be like Direct Buy!

Roxy...Yes, for the ones on PAhomepage.com...they're $40.00 for $20.00. Great deal! And you can buy more than one!
De_Nepa...I bought about $16.00 worth at once...the first one I used I had no problem...other than the skunk...We needed to spend $35.00 which for two is not hard to do. It ended up costing us $20. with the tip which was a great deal for a good dinner with dessert.
