Default Properties for sale in Harveys Lake

While driving around the lake it has become quite clear to me that people are just packing up and selling, what happened to transfer to wyoming county-nothing.

I can't believe people wanted to secede from Luzerne County in the first place when Wyoming County uses the same reassessment company! Are they just trying to prolong the inevitable? A lot of people around here are just delusional regarding property values. Townhouses have been springing up left and right here in Pittston, and most are selling in the $250,000+ category. The new Stauffer Pointe subdivision in Pittston Township just burned down this weekend, but many of those units would have marketed for well over $300,000 (and people WERE buying them!) Some townhouses in Glenmaura sell for nearly $400,000. Our own home is nothing special but is valued well over $200,000. Let the people in Harvey's Lake whine and cry that their beautiful lake front "cottages" aren't worth $600,000. See how sorry we all feel for them down here in the valley?
