Scranton/Wilkes-Barre CraigsList Rants & Raves
I have just spent the better part of a half-hour laughing my derrière off at some of the mind-numbing nonsense that can be found within the "Rants & Raves" section of our local CraigsList. From a guy who wants to defecate in Scranton (there's a lot of Green Ridge-bashing going on around 11/15) to a hell of a lot of gay-bashing around 11/9 (can't say I'm surprised with that one) to someone who really hates a Scranton Times-Tribune newspaper carrier on 11/3, some of these people make me, a mentally ill person myself, feel normal!

I used CraigsList....
...when I was moving from Boston. Amazingly I got responses minutes after posting items for sale. People showed up within the hour! I sold everything I listed! I didn't realize there was a section that contained such BS. I read just one post here and stopped. Interestingly, Rants and Raves and other venues like the 30 seconds I mentioned- are magnets not only for the timid and dysfunctional, but frustrated actors and deviants who enjoy causing grief on others. And they are sometimes difficult to differentiate!

There's also a 'best of Craigslist' section that uses the best ads from all over the country- best-of-craigslist. I read a few of these when I'm having a bad day at work. It's either that or Lolcats ‘n’ Funny Pictures of Cats - I Can Has Cheezburger?. |

I copy some of the LOLCat pictures and use them as my wallpaper on my computer. Keeps me entertained and out of trouble. I <3 LOLCats! |

I like the goofy ads, they're fun - I don't like people ranting and raving like idiots though, that gets on my nerves.
I cut my teeth on Yahoo Message Boards back in the day, and I must say I've had enough of that crazy nonsense.
