Oh gosh, Frontline was just a joke now...please dont try it.
We have used "off" spray when going into the woods so all the little critters would stay off.......
But yes, some skins are very sensitive to it.
The Avon Skin so Soft works in a bind........it was used often to keep fleas off animals etc.
However, I can't handle that smell.......
I'm not good with perfumes myself, having to run through the perfume departments holding my breath.

We used to use skin so soft in the Army to keep the ticks, chiggers, etc. off while out in the field.

Lially.........have you ever tried the skin so soft?
Looks like njmike did....... I use to put it on my dogs down the shore, but then the frontline came along and that was a lot easier. Plus, the smell of the SSSoft, wasn't to my liking after awhile...

At least we smelled good while out in the field. I laughed at first when I heard what it was used for but became a believer after awhile.

Down here we have "no see-ums" ('cause we're right on the coast) that come out in early morning for about an hour & early evening about the same...

Like the name says, you can't see 'em, but BOY do they like to chew on your ankles & legs!!!

I use the skin-so-soft & it works like a charm!! But after using it for so long, BOY do I hate the smell!!!

Blech!!!

I have to agree with you. Now that I'm no longer in the Army, I don't go near skin so soft.

Never tried the Skin So Soft, but if it has a fragrance, it would most likely irritate my skin. I can't use anything with a fragrance. I'll just hike when the ground freezes over. I think you burn more calories when it's cold out anyway!

Skin so soft has a fragrance to it. It can be overbearing if used a lot. I can't stand the cold so I'm outside as little as possible.

I love the cold weather. It's brisk and refreshing, as long as it's not one of those winds that cuts through you like a knife. I love to bundle up and head outside in the winter. We've even gone on motorcycle rides in January. It's the heat I can't stand.

I've gone ice fishing when it was -23f and after that I turned against the cold weather. I can always cool off but can't always get warm.
