I might still be in for that "Solar is Sexy" t-shirt! Stay tuned! I hope business is still remaining stable for you, even during this rough recession.

Hey, if you can convince a Dave & Buster's to come to Downtown Scranton too I'll personally buy you a Toyota Prius when I'm financially secure!

The Moonshine is one of the coolest places downtown. Unfortunately it was purchased by an obnoxious out of towner who alienated the somewhat influential local music scene and the word went out and now he's screwed and he's never going to get the price he wants for it. Plus the sound sucked there. Too cavernous. Eventually ANOTHER out of town genius who doesn't know the local climate will acquire it in some scheme and the plan will be to put in 'lofts' that will rent for around $2000.00 a month and we all know how that'll end up.

Perhaps like the Lofts at the Mill up in the Petersburg section of Scranton, which are VERY NICE judging by my visits there? One thing Scranton and Wilkes-Barre both desperately NEED is more downtown living options. If all of these fledgling new businesses are to survive this terrible recession (and possibly impending depression if all goes wrong in 2009), then they NEED to latch onto the increased foot traffic that new downtown residents will create. What is holding up the Hotel Sterling, Murray Complex, Empire Silk Mill, Northampton & Main, etc., etc. loft projects, anyways, in Wilkes-Barre?
