Default What type of Christmas tree do you prefer?

As Christmas, is almost upon us. I thought it would be interesting to see what kind of tree’s the folks of NEPA, are putting up this year??

I myself haven’t had a real tree in many years. I think perhaps, only when I was a kid? Anyway I think the main reason is because they are so much work to take care of. And then you have to hope the city picks it up after the holidays. Also I think a real tree can catch on fire a lot faster then a fake one.. What do the rest of ya all think??

I have a fake tree because in the long run it's cheaper. Cleaner. One less thing to fight the crowds to have to buy and lug home. I suppose some consider that fun; I consider it annoying. Call me scrooge.

Pine smell can be obtained with pine candles. Kids want a real tree but don't want to water it two or three times a day. Hate needles.

I think now a days they sell the fake trees with the lights already on them. You just take it out of the box and plug it in!

I haven't had a tree up in years. If I did put a tree up it, would be a real one (fir of some sort). My parents always put up real trees and at one time they used to grow and sell them. Real trees are a lot of work, but they make the house smell good.

I love a real tree. I love the trip to the tree farm to choose one. It makes me smile...
My fake garland left me more greenery on the floor then my real tree does. Plus, I put a bag under the tree then just pull it over the tree to dispose of it. Our recycle place isn't far.
More work. Yes..........I agree.
But, its the whole thing of going to the field, picking it out.......A Christmas experience..........
I like the real Christmas tree smell, the fake sprays doesn't cut it.... So I voted...Real Tree

OH boy, so you have me all figured out...
If I ever got a fake tree...I'd have to tie it onto the roof of the car, drive around the block...and pretend it was real...while putting it in the stand ...

I've never had a real tree my whole life, so I guess you don't know what you've never had. I'm content with our 3 piece pre-lit target tree. If I had no small kids I wouldn't put up a tree at all though!

I'm real big on the Chirsdtmas Decorating...I have a fake tre...and I get so many compliments on it. Did have a real tree one year about 3 years ago and hated how the branches just drooped when I hung an ornament. My fake tree is 24 years old!!!! It is still gorgeous.
Pre-lit is great...IFFFFF the lights work. I just put up my mom's tree and she has a 1/2 ring around the middle not lit...well..it's staying that way!!
