Here's my first attempt at this. I wanted to do more around Lake Wallenpaupack, but ran out of time. Maybe I can do around the lake and Hawley another day. Anyway, I started out on Route 507 in Greentown:

Community Garden Center

Entrance to the Escape, which is an basically a trailer park with mobile homes and double-wides, but also has lots of amenities like a marina and pool and it is nicely maintained. There are people who buy property here and rent it out just to use the spot to dock their boat.

Ledgedale boat docks and camping area, one of the PPL-owned recreation areas around Lake Wallenpaupack. Ironwood Point is a few miles further up Rt. 507, and Wilsonville is closer to the dam.

This Subway is located off Exit 20 of I-84. There is also an Italian restaurant and a gas station/convenient store.

These are a few houses in the area.

Dutch's Market and the Agway/Dime Bank building. Dutch's also has the community's recycling drop off area located in their parking lot, which makes it very convenient for those that recycle.

Now blink once and we are in Newfoundland:

The Moravian Church

Wallenpaupack South Elementary School (K-6). I had some pictures of the park across the road, which has the community baseball, soccer, and football fields and playgrounds and pavillions, but they mysteriously disappeared. Also, behind the school is the Greene-Dreher-Sterling Fairgrounds.

Great shots and nice houses! I'm ready to point the Jeep northbound!

What do you reckon that house in the bottom picture would sell for?

Becauce I have been looking at the real estat listings soooo much in the past 6 months in this area, I would say that bottom house would sell for $260,000. - $280,000. If it has acreage, possibly more.

How much do you think the house that is second from the bottom would go for (the one with the beautiful porch)? That is just the type of house we would be looking for, but in the Lehigh Valley, with about 1-2 acres of land. Anyone have any idea what price we would be looking at for something like that?

Those two bottom photos are of homes located along Nevin Road (Rt. 507 out of Newfoundland, right on Sawmill Rd, then right on Nevin) outside of Newfoundland. It's a nice quiet wooded area and I did notice some homes for sale. The one with the porch also has a large garage on the other side. I have a very nice home, but if I were ever to move, I would want a large farmhouse-type home with a big porch and about 20 acres (for the barn and horses, of course!) and lots of wooded trails for riding.
(I can dream, can't I??)

I just have a Kodak Easyshare camera (mine is model CS7430) but it's a couple years old, so I'm sure there are new models out. It also came with a printer dock.
