Hi Ashley I live in Montrose. I can think of a couple options. One is looking in our Mulligans pennysaver paper link Mulligan's Pennysaver Other that that Binghamton - Vestal, NY is about 25 minutes away (no traffic just back roads). or if you prefer PA Scranton is only 45 minutes (via I-81). I hope this helps. We are really in the middle oF

Hi Ashley...I live in Montrose. We have a pennysaver that has rentals in it Mulligan's Pennysaver and we are 25 minutes from Binghamton-Vestal, NY.(north of us) No traffic but a lot of back roads. Scranton, PA (south of Montrose) is much bigger and will have more options (via I-81). One thing to remember...we are about 1800ft above sea level so...it is sometimes like a blizzard here and Scranton and or Binghamton are getting nothing (or rain) It would behove you to find something in Montrose as we do not have any buses or taxis.

Come to Montrose anytime Lady Ashley we'd love to have you. Oh, and stay out of Binghamton it's the armpit of the Southern Tier.

I think pal1pet is exaggerating about Montrose having blizzards. While it's true that it snows far more frequently, PennDot and the local borough and townships do excellent work plowing the roads before people are up and out for their morning travel.

I loved in Montrose for 6 months. When i just think back to that time it gives me the shivers.
The entire Binghamton, Scranton area is completely disgusting, depressed and dilapidated.

I'm betting Ashley has a place by now, since her original post was in 2008.
