No No No Tom Tom!! I have one.. I dont like it at all. It's not up to date on streets. It will get you close to were you want to be, but more often I found myself in the woods or some where in NYC, that I really didnt want to be in...

We have a Garmin...not sure which model...

So far, we haven't made a turn & drove into any lake or brick wall...

Bill's the one who got it & he seems very happy with it!!

The Garmin our daughter has kept saying 'NOT' to take the shortcut to the Bethany Beach in DE.
" Turn around" Turn around" it kept saying. Having not taken, the shortcut before but having researched it. I said.........." lets keep going, this should be a good route"......It really was too.
It kept you off the main highway and brought you into Bethany the back way, rather then from the beach in. I'm so glad we didn't listen to the machine.
Other then that, it is a good device........most the time its very accurate. I think it hates shortcuts.
It just wouldn't even accept it as viable.

Whhooooo, Hooooo.........Jungle George.........Arn't you outta the state of Florida on Thursday.
Don't you worry yourself. I find the places and areas of the Poconos to be just fine. You've been around this way.........you know how gorgeous it can be.
I'm thrilled about Annies concert, and all sold out at that! I just know you will fall in love with New Hope....I really love it there. Charming, comfortable, eclectic....fun.
Wow, your time is getting close. Sweaters, sweaters........hats.........mittens. The little pup won't know what happened to her sunshine.
I'm just so excited for you. Will you be taking pictures? Any camera will do!

Woweee.......They are showing a snow storm for JG arrival in the Scranton - Wilkes area.........
Sunday. I have a party in NJ that night. So I'll be wishing it holds off until very late, or very early in the least.

Yep!! 3 days & counting!!!

We're gonna take TONS of pix!! I'll post 'em when we get back (I'm sure most of y'all are gonna miss me for 3 weeks!!) Yep...Annie's concert was sold out within a week...glad we're on the guest list!! I've got great news about her, but I can't say anything yet...

All the clothes are washed & ready to go...my cuz is letting me use her garment bag instead of using my suitcase. My suitcase is HUGE (from my "on the road" days) & too big for the amount of clothes I'm taking...

Little girl's just SO excited...here's a pic I took today which I posted on another thread & now feel will be better on this thread...

The epitome of excitement...
