Default Driving on the snow & ice in NEPA

Here's what not to do.....
YouTube - Snow Driving Fail

It's that time of year were the snow & ice is going to be around a lot more then we think. Just a reminder of what could happen if were not careful. I know I380 & I84 are big problems this time of year for snow and ice. The wife had a close call on I380 this last time around. Being she is from NY, don’t help matters. Just all be careful out there!!

Every year when we seem to get the first big snow fall, people tend to forget how to drive in the snow and ice. Just a friendly reminder to becareful and watch your speed.

My hubby was going down our driveway like that last year........
Just like a sled on ice. I once did a complete turn, the back wheels just went Upps! and round I went. I've driven in a lot of snow. But, I was braver once....and I am less brave now.

I know the ice in the vid, was pretty bad and it dont really get like that around here to much... But it's always good to keep in the back of ones mind what could happen.. I just spent close to 700.00 bucks for snow tires for the wifes car... But atleast that may help her be a bit safer on her daily trips from long island to PA..

I drove that road everyday 6 days a week for work. For 7 years, and let me tell ya.. I have never in my life seen so many cars flipped upside down. And the sad part of it was many of them were SUV's. Seems people think they got a big 4x4 and their on stoppable..

locked up wheels do noting for traction! let off the brake and use the accelerator to regain control!

an empty remote parking lot will sharpen your driving skills in the snow.

i bet these guys could teach us a thing or two about driving on snow
