I just purchased an antique cash register. The rotating plate has "H C Pennington" that makes an imprint onto the receipt. I'm curious as to its history.

Very Nice!
I'm assuming that included with the Pennington name, Bloomsburg PA is included? I'll talk to a good friend who knows the history of this town, and ask about Pennington. Hopefully I can get in touch with her tonight!
brb.......

Thanks AmeriKenArtist. Yes, "H C Pennington" and "Bloomsburg, Pa." were both included on the stamp.
There was another blurb that also printed, something along the lines of "No transaction is complete until you are satisfied..." There's more, but I don't have it in front of me at the moment.

Spoke to the roots...
Spoke to people in town with "roots." One lady's Aunt worked with another Pennington in nearby Benton, PA. That's as close as I got with phone calls. Now I'll take a walk to the local genealogical society on Monday.

Thanks. How far away is Benton? I'm thinking about reposting the question on the general Pennsylvania forum.
