I'll explain when you do...and it makes it look lacey kind every few rows. I think I'm going to do waht you're doing next year. Maybe frame some great photos... Do you crochet? A great easy gift is to buy the fleece blankets with different patterns and crochet a matching decorative edge around them.
Thanks, I Love PA. I just started learning knitting and quilting, so I'll use my projects through the year as gifts, if they are good enough. The ones that don't cut it will be mine or the cats.

For me all homemade gifts would cut it if I were on the receiving end ... because someone thought enough of me to make me a gift ... and put love and much time into it ... but then again I am a sentimental fool ...

You inspired me to go through some of my old photos ... I bought some frames and put some photos into them that I had of my neices and nephews when they were little ... now they are all grown up ... and am giving these photos that only I have to their parents ... hopefully they will be a hit ... don't know though. I know that it's something that I would love to get.

Sounds like a great idea to me. Framed photos are a great gift. I think that I'm going to have a picture done of all us kids and frame it for my Dad and his wife's anniversary in February. I think they'd like that since there aren't many of all of us together. Thanks for the idea!

I love photos ... and I think I would love to have some of my family that were framed ... especially the ones of the children when they were small ... but you actually made me think of the more meaningful gift rather than that same old sweater from J. C. Penney's ... so I thank you for the idea!
