Hello eveyone, thanks for all your posts which helped me and my wife find a beautiful place in Hemlock Farms. We will be moving late January.

We need to find quality cell phone service for the Hawley, Dingmans Ferry and Milford area. I hear some say verizon, but when I check thier site it shows no service for our zip 18428. If there is anyone living in Hemlock farms that has good service I would love to hear about it.

Thanks

Verizon has the NEPA area pretty much covered. If there service is spotty you might want to check with AT&T. When I moved to Saylorsburg last year we had zero service with Verizon but I went to their website and reported where I lived with the exact geographic coordinates (obtained from Google maps) and they got us covered. Cingular is another choice and so is Nextel. But with Sprint having financial difficulties who knows how long they'll be around. I've been with Verizon since '94 so that is why I stuck with them.

My ex-boyfriend lived in Pike County, and me having AT&T was a living NIGHTMARE, as I had very, very sparse coverage out there. I have great coverage here in the city from them though.

We are in Greentown and had Nextel for a few years and found it to be awful. We switched to AT&T and have a alot more service than we did. We still have little or no service at our house due to where we are located (in a valley). If having coverage at home is important to you, maybe you should check with a few of the new neighbors and see what they use.

We had Nextel when we moved out here and had really crappy coverage. Switched to AT&T, one of only 3 cell services that work at our house. TMobile and TracPhone also work here but I also found out that TracPhoen buys signal from pretty much everyone so seems to work in a lot more places.
There are a few places where I drop signal but for the most part, it's been pretty good.

We have great coverage of the Lake Wallenpaupack area with AT&T. But, we hang out in Hemlock every weekend and have almost no service in there!

We live in Lackawaxen and had AT&T with no service. We recently switched to Verizon and finally have service.
