Just wondering if anyone has tried the new Irish Pub I think in Gouldsboro? I was up there last
summer and it had just opened...didn't have time to get there. maybe next summer? if it's still
in business...Wish I could remember the name....

Come to my house!
Just made a risotto with peas and pancetta. Also mushroom soup with fresh herbs and sherry. And drinking a really nice Gewürztraminer from the Finger Lakes to go along with it! (Yes, a man that can cook. *Cue ScranBarre swooning*)

Some of my local fav's are:
Sidels - Scranton
Alora Room - Peckville
Sibeo's - Dunmore
Rossi's - Archbald
Faccia Luna - Scranton
We used to love Casa De Mama's in N Scranton, but they sold the business a few years ago...there is a new restaurant there, food is good, but it isn't the same. I miss it

UGH! Yes, sir, you have me nailed to a "T!" I was sitting here with my mouth agape wishing I was an attractive young woman whom could be invited over to enjoy such a magnificent feast to the senses! That's my one Achilles' Heel. I'm a total romantic who will whisk a mate off of his feet and into complete happiness, but the microwave is the only kitchen appliance that gets any attention from me! LOL! I need to find myself a guy who wants to be pampered in return for being able to cook me Hamburger Helper or a grilled cheese every night!

Well I think Summering might fit the bill. She's a hottie-pattottie, and as a Jersey girl she has probably retained much of my much-adored "Joisey" accent (sigh!!!)

I cannot believe nobody has suggested Samario's. My God! Or Sidel's on North Main Avenue! And actually right behind Sidel's there is a small pizza/sub type place whose name escapes me. Amazing food! Dang! Why can't I think of the name of the place?
