How on Earth do you know what I would like? I enjoy trying new regional and ethnic foods where ever I travel!
Some Long Islanders can be very provincial complaining about the paucity of good bagels or pizza where ever they go. I have enjoyed varanikis in the former Soviet Union, poi in Hawaii, fried green tomatoes and boiled peanuts in the Carolinas.
Sheesh!

And there are very provincial people every where! You make your self sound ignorant when you paint ANY GROUP OF PEOPLE with such a broad and negative brush!

We went sno tubing at Big Bear on Saturday. It was so much fun ; 2 hours for $22 ; but I may try Montage Mountain next time. We were there at the movies on Sunday and had lunch in Kildares.

Still hate to come back to reality. It bites.

oh well.

Trust me, if I thought that everyone in NEPA thought the way that you characterize YOURSELF I would NOT be moving to the region.
High Rolling New Yorker?WTH??? Does this mean rich or does it refer to gambling?

I am moving to NEPA because I want a more affordable low key lifestyle. I am far from rich and I have never gambled at a casino in my life - although i'd like to give it a try

Well there's a casino near Wilkes-Barre (Mohegan Sun) and a casino near Mt. Pocono (Mount Airy). There's also plenty of "rich" people in our area, mostly concentrated in small enclaves like Glenmaura, Waverly, Harvey's Lake, Green Ridge, Ice Lakes, and parts of both the Back Mountain and Greater Pittston.
