Those people in Harvey's Lake are so delusional. They wanted to secede from Luzerne County and join Wyoming County, which uses the SAME assessment company? What, do they think that in Luzerne County their homes would have a market value of $875,000, and in Wyoming County they'd be worth $150,000?

I agree with you 100% ... I picked this as our biggest local news story because it did involve the murder of 3 people ... not because it is something that makes me feel unsafe ... and I do agree that it could have happened anywhere ... but the fact remains that it didn't and it was one of the biggest stories ... I guess it hit close to home for me because one of the victims was a student at SHS and a friend of my nephew ... so I knew him from the school and as a friend of my family ... so it hit me as the biggest local news story.
