Default SNOW...anyone???

OK...am I lving in the Twilight Zone or does anyone else have snow? We have about 8 inches and it is still coming down. No predictions for this what-so-ever! WNEP 'JUST' updated their web-site to include this blurb....

The exception to this forecast has been some heavy snowfall over the northeastern corner of PA (portions of Susquehanna, Wayne, & Pike counties) where there has been some heavy snow that started after 5 am today. The snow fell there at a rate of 1"-2" per hour. That accumulating snow should end this morning and be followed by snow showers during the day with an inch or two of additional accumulation.

Funny how it takes a professional to tell you it's snowing, 5 hours after it started. I have windows......and eyes......

I'm right there with ya sister!!

Is it always this way, that our area is the "exception" to the rule? If so, then I'll simply prepare for significantly more accumulation than everywhere else.

*sigh*

I think it's only 62 days until Spring...does that help!!!

I have no snow......my friend........but you know where I am...

BTW the girls have I think decided on a weekend retreat place in your gated community.... It was a toss up between a few locations. I guess by March they will be able to plow their way through.

Is there an indoor pool there? What else would they enjoy in March.......
DM me when you have a chance........Thanks

PS Since your snowbound in your home........you might have lots of time.

Yeah, I think Joe Sned needs to go back to school or stop goofing around so much. His forecast was for 1-2 inches last night.

I have about 8 inches too. I am staying by Lake Wallenpaupack last night. I came to check the pipes, etc at my parents place. I decided to spend the night, and woke up to being snowed in! Luckily my office is closed tomorrow for MLK, so I think I will just relax and enjoy another day here. The lake looks pretty cool when it is all frozen and covered with snow.

I thought I was just out of the loop not knowing about this, glad to hear it wasn't just me! It's actually pretty nice out...fun to watch my dog playing in this kind of light fluffy snow.

It's still snowing like crazy here. We had plans to go out today with no idea that this was coming. Amazing how they never get it right.

They weren't predicting over 8 inches of snow at any time this last week on WNEP.
