Fine Dining in NEPA HELP
I am looking for a very nice place to have dinner with my wife around here. Like black dress, suite and tie kind of place. Price is not an issue. looking for something some where between Bloomsburg, Hazleton, and Wilkes Barre. If there was dancing that would be a plus, or even a place any one knows of that we can go dancing or any to do afterwards.
Thanks for the help!

Isabella on rt. 315 in Wilkes-Barre. Oyster, Genetti's Best Western downtown Wilkes-Barre. Kazimi's, Schyler Ave, Kingston. Also Ruth's Chris steakhouse at The Mohegan Sun Casino.

The Inn at Turkey Hill was my "go-to" fancy restaurant when I lived near Danville.
Lightstreet Exit off I80.
The service was always wonderful as well as the food, but alas no dancing.
It's a B&B type place so they have wonderful specials, especially for Valentine's Day.

I haven't eaten there yet, but you can Google them at Isabella restaraunt Wilkes-Barre. Also you may want to check out Bella Vino (it's about ten minutes north of Wilkes-Barre), or Katana in downtown W-B.

There are numerous great suggestions here. If you want to do dinner/dancing all under one roof I'd recommend TriBeCa in Pittston Township, located along Highway 315. It's inside the Quality Inns (formerly Victoria Inns). I'd call ahead first to see about their schedule, but they have bands playing on certain nights that often play good romantic music for couples from the 1960s-1980s. They also offer free dance lessons on certain evenings; a friend and I are considering going next week as a matter of fact, since I'm off from work that night. The food is adequate, but if you wanted to cap off the night with some wine I'd head down to Bella Vino, also along Highway 315 near Pittston, which has an extensive wine selection and an upscale atmosphere.

I'm glad that ScranBarre brought up TriBeCa. The Hubby and I had dinner there for our anniversary some time ago, previous management, and were very pleased. Adequate doesn't sound like the ticket for a special dinner.
Portafino is a newer, upscale restaurant in Wilkes-Barre. It's very nice, but I think that Isabella wins by a nose in that category. I think that it's a little nicer looking and I liked the menu more. Where does one stop after, Woodlands?
I was in the middle of a post pointing to The Inn at Turkey Hill when I noticed that WatsonWest had taken care of that for me. I haven't eaten there but I've wanted to for some time. It looks spectacular.
I really like Katana. It's one of my favorite Japanese, sushi restaurant's. The guy who owns it was the head sushi chef at Robato? in Scranton many years ago. I go in there once a year (I live out of state) he looks at me, cocks his head questioningly and I say, "Yes A-son, it's me". We always have a little chat for old times sake. However, I don't think that it's a black dress place.
Has anyone been to Cafe Toscana? If OP ate there or Oyster, lovely, are any of the bars, clubs on Main St. a suitable dance, drink stop afterwards?

Cafe Toscana has great food, and it's actually refreshing to see the downtown is truly taking off in terms of nightlife.

you can try Cove Haven
Cove Haven Resort in Lakeville also offers a dinner package. You can dress up or go casual, your choice! After a wonderful dinner you go off to the night club for entertainment and dancing. It is a great night out!
