Can anyone tell me why Pocono country place has such a bad reputation? I moved here from NYC like everyone else and left the ghetto mentality there of living and surviving in a poor neighborhood of the Bronx. I moved her with my family to obtain a better life for my son. My family brought a house on route 196N and the equity of peoples homes decreased because of the reputation of what they call (PCP). The schools systems in Tobyhanna are horrible because the children who live in PCP attend the schools in the area so I will be busing my son. It's just a shame that there are some decent people iving in tobyhanna and in PCP but the whole area gets such a bad reputation which now the equity of good quality and almost high end homes are decreased because of it.
