No they can't ScranBarre. SHS and WSHS are totally independent of one and other.

I'd used this site schoolmatters to look up some basic stats on schools. Here's some info on the 2 high schools.

It also links to the course catalog for West -- West Scranton High School Course Catalogue, which may give you some idea of the arts electives. No similar link for SHS. (You may have found all this info by now, but just in case...)
