Seriously, it's not just NEPA. My friends here are having the same issue. Maybe it's that professional, intellegent men are either so driven by their careers that they don't have time for another love or they are driven to date 18 year olds that look like they could be in a certain men's magazine. We've tried the Barnes & Noble route - they actually have single events here - figuring that these guys could at least read! And being outdoorsy types, I've gone with my friend on hikes, but all we met were other single women!
I do a friend that got married to a guy she met on Match.com. The met and married within 1 year! Another is getting married to a guy from her church that she met when they worked together on a project there.
I'd suggest to keep doing things you enjoy and reach out to clubs or organizations that interest you. At the very least, you'll meet other people who are passionate about the same things you are and may make some good friends, and you are keeping yourself out in the social circles. Hey, and maybe one of those friends will have a handsome, unattached brother!

Keep talking Commish.....pique this girl's interest...but I have to ask, didn't you start this thread becuase, and I quote "I've had a series of successful dates with a pretty special girl" ????? I just wouldn't want to mess up something for a lucky and special girl out there that isn't having a hard time finding a date  --even if she is only getting wings from the Donkey |
