People were yammering into their cell phones left and right in the other parts of the museum that we initiated our journey in, but I was dialing my friend's cell phone number while walking around the corner towards an art gallery and was completely oblivious to the fact that I had entered it when I started asking her where she and the rest of the party were. The curator immediately threw a FIT!
In hindsight texting may have been better, but service was spotty (AT&T's not all it's cracked up to be).
