There is too much to mention. We are really blessed to have so many options for an area our size! If what we have doesn't satisfy, we're only 2.5 hours from Manhatten. As far as dating. Are you looking to pick up a date? or a place to take a date? The Woodlands comes to mind, the poconos is only an hour away!(for as long as it takes you to get from Long Island to Manhatten during rush hour, you can be in the poconos!) there are many bars and clubs in the Scr/W-B area (so it depends on your personal taste), many very good Italian restaraunts in the area. Like I said earlier This is not NYC, but there is no shortage of things to do around here. Anyway, good luck with your choice! Wecome!

Come to PA you can Smoke in the bars, unlike the rest of the Civilized world.

First let me start by saying that Clarks Summit is more like Morris county without the class and expense but yet is nothing like NJ or NY, that comes from someone that has never lived in NJ. You will not find the conveinces that NJ provides but you will also not find the traffic and jug handles and circles and traffic, traffic, traffic but you will find a better way of life and lower cost of living. If you are in your thirties then you might be disappointed if you do not partake in outdoor activities. The malls are nothing compared to Short Hills or Bridgewater, Rockaway, they are more like a stripe mall compared to those. If you want a little more laid back lifestyle with less hassle then great look at SWB area but if you think that you are going to find anything that compares to central NJ whether its north or south you will be disappointed....

I seriously love those jug handles, they make it easier, i miss em!!!!

I hope you have a job before you move to PA because they are hard to come by. Better money in NJ and NY.
