Ryan leckey sucks. I get that he is gay, and wnep wants to appear inclusive, but he really blows as a news reporter.

compared to the rest of them--he is much better---and what he is or isn't socially has no bearing on his professionalism

If he was reporting in a place other than redneck NEPA, you might be right.

Straight or gay, he still sucks as a reporter.

Actually, believe it or not, I have heard that Leckey is straight. Sure, he seems like he's a "set off the sprinker system" flamer, but he wouldn't be the first feminine guy out there who isn't gay.

The irony is that most of my gay friends here in Pittsburgh and even my partner are so butch nobody ever suspects them of being gay while "straights" like Ryan Leckey set off our "gaydar" while, apparently, NOT being gay.
