Same thing as the Dead - drug culture.
I'd like to see the Gin Blossoms, I don't think they ever played the mountain. They're still touring so far as I know. I got to see the Killers last summer, great show but they probably wouldn't draw the 12k+ people that Dave Matthews does. |

Nah, caught them in CT while enroute to Mystic. If you're ever up there, make sure you check out the S&P Oyster Co. BEST SEAFOOD EVER, and still economical.

I'm not so sure about that. DMB seems to have a huge mainstream following, which you wouldn't find if it was strictly a Grateful Dead hippie/drug culture thing. For a more recent version of the Dead and their hippie followers, see Phish. |

Ok, fine, whatever - I have no idea what I'm talking about. I'm not saying that DMB fans are criss-crossing the country in VW buses, but there is still a much higher percentage of marijuana usage at DMB concerts as compared to others. It's the college pot head crowd. |
