Water Costs in Scranton/Dunmore
City must raise $5M in 45 days

The clock is ticking on Scranton and Dunmore. When time runs out, ratepayers hooked up to city water could once again get hit with the fallout.
In 45 days, the two municipalities must have a plan in place to pay a $6.6 million court-ordered judgment against them to American Water Services Inc., the parent company of Pennsylvania American Water.
