Yes Magritte, it is. It can be a pain in the a** sometimes as everyone who doesn't have an access card, has to be an invited guess and physically go into the administration building to show their registration and license in order to get a pass. In a way, I think that's "over the top" but by the same token, it's a very effective system.

There was a time when seeing groups of teens hanging around the recreation area was true, but that's not the case anymore not for several years. Personally, I didn't like seeing that either, but was never harrassed by them in anyway. They minded their own business and I mine. How exactly did they bother you? Did you report it to security?

I'm not in RE, I was never given a citation when living in PCP, I have no axes to grind. I tell it as I experienced it. You're the one that sounds like a desperate RE broker with tons of listings in PCP!

I, for one, like having PCP around. When all the lowlifes move to the Poconos (its inevitable), they are attracted to the run down cheap areas like PCP, and the nicer areas of the Poconos stay nice. So thank you PCP,for keeping all the criminals in your neighborhoodand out of mine.

Coolbaugh Township A Pocono Country Place Demographics - Neighborhood Demographics

Those demographics are slightly outdated. Like 18 years or so. It lists PCP's population as 3700 (Its over 10,000 now) And it say "population change since 1990- 4%!" LOL! Time for an update

Default Pocono Country Place, see for yourself

There seems to be a lot of misrepresentation going on concerning A.P.C.P.

Please visit their official website to get the facts and judge for yourself. I've taken the liberty of providing the link below.

Also, if you want to see some of the projects by the people that actually live there, the please click on this link as well.

So what's behind the sudden interest? APCP hasn't been spoken of in months here on the board.

re: the demographics...unless there's another Baptist Bible College of PA near APCP, that page is pretty far off re: the miles to the university...Baptist Bible College of PA is almost an hour away - 34 miles, from APCP, not 12 miles...and Keystone College is 33 miles, not 7.

PCP is a hot topic to talk about. So many people hate it. Personally, I don't hate it, its not the worst place to live, but it certainly isn't the best thing since sliced bread either
