I just stumbled upon these WONDERFUL photo tours. I had no idea that PA had so many quaint BEAUTIFUL little towns. I was looking for some artist relocation towns when I found you.
First of all I noticed that these were done over 3 years ago. Are you still doing these photo tours??? Second are you limited to PA. I'd love to see some small towns in RI.. They advertise 9 artist relocation towns. So if you want some suggestions Providence, Pawtucket, and the other 7 that they are trying to promote. Thanks so much for what you've done so far ScranBarre. Let me know if you get this.

Wow! Thank you very much for the compliments! Actually due to my inability to adapt to the chronic whining/pessimism in my native Northeastern Pennsylvania I am now living in Northern Virginia and have done a couple of tours thus far down here with more on the way from the Quad-State and District area.

My family has vacationed in Rhode Island a couple of times, and I personally am thinking about going back for my week-long vacation next summer (there or Chicago). Providence is a great city, as is Newport. I was also keen on Westerly, RI.

I was going to suggest Old Town and Alexandria since you're down there, but you've apparently already done that. I was also going to suggest going to South abington Twp and taking pictures of all the people who should be living in downtown scranton, but i figured theres a better time or topic (see roasters thread) for that. Sorry...Great pictures though.

Also be sure to check out my latest tour of the Abington Heights area (a second tour of that area will have to be done at a later day to tie up loose ends). Thanks!
Well of course I'm gonna say Pittston; I would love to see a night picture of "The Firemen's Memorial Bridge". I'm sure I got the name wrong...the old Water Street Bridge. In my day we just said: the Iron Bridge and the Concrete Bridge...LOL.

It's officially the "Firefighters' Memorial Bridge" in honor of the two brave men who lost their lives battling a Downtown Pittston inferno in the early-1990s (their statue is nearby along Kennedy Boulevard near the entrance of Riverfront Park). Everyone still calls it either the Water Street Bridge or "the metal bridge" though.

I was close...LOL...seriously I saw a very small pic of it. I have read that it is only one of a handful of fiber optically lighted bridges in the country, would love to see a regular sized picture of it. Thanx...P2S
