I still need hotel ideas in the area. Looking for a simple place, cheap and clean. Don't need lots of amenities - cleanliness is the most important feature! I'll even be happy driving 20-30 minutes to get it![/quote]
lialleycat, here is some info for a Holiday Inn Express. It is about 10 miles from Montrose and right off of Interstate 81. Should be reasonable and hopefully clean

That hotel is fairly new and shouldnt have many bad reviews.. That's odd. It is convenient to montrose. you could also try the bed and breakfast right in town. I will be in attendance this year. I missed last year although my mother went and she thought it was cute. Definatley a good way to spend a few hours.

They were older reviews, perhaps its a different hotel I was looking at. Was doing a quicky search between meetings at work! I will look again after class tonight. |
