SO, I'm coming out from LI for the meet and greet. What else should I do/see in the area? I like nature, museums, and food (vegetarian)! I'd also love to just take a ride through the more rural areas nearby to get a feel for the areas. Maybe go to open houses if anyone knows where I could get a list. I'm starting to look for jobs up this way again. NEPA seems to have the friendliest people in PA.

I will make every effort possible to make it up that day.  It's only a four-hour drive, and maybe I'll rent a room for the night at the Red Roof Inn or something just so I don't have to have my parents know I'm in to nag, nag, NAG me! LMAO!  |

I know! You owe me a drink, and I owe you an ice cream! Same for weluvpa. I hope all of the "Scranton guys" (including a few 'burb boys like me, The Commish, scrantonluna, and Retired Law 08) can get together independently at some point. I may be in for the Fourth of July weekend, as my mother's birthday is July 1, my sister's birthday is June 28, and two friends of mine, along with my parents, are having parties. |

Sounds great to me-- looking like I'm around that weekend.. Do start a thread closer to then if it looks like you'll be heading back up. (And remember that Backyard is off limits for a couple folks!)
