Default Subway vs Quiznos

Subway is so disappointing. A few years ago, I decided to try them again. I ordered a veggie and I watched the girl place three tiny (approx. 1" x 1 1/2" each) triangular pieces of cheese on my order. I laughed out loud and exclaimed "You must be joking!" She said that is how they are told to do it. I told her to be real. She put a few more tiny pieces on.... and then loaded the pre-cut lettuce!

Quiznos has a delightful selection of breads, etc.
I think I'll try their new "ToastyTorpedo!" It reminds me of the actual panini that I have when walking Paris. (Flat footlong, heat-pressed and in a paper sleeve. Everyone in the U.S.A. is now calling their sandwiches, panini.

The small parking lot in front of Barnes & Noble fills up quickly; whenever I go on the weekends I have to park in the lot in front of Staples.
I've learned from my Wicked Good Walks in Boston to not arrange for anything outside of an Urban Walk. In general, that appeals to mostly everyone. You can come and go at your leisure. People can decide where to go while chatting. The spontaneity of "what to do" is most of the fun! (Micro-managing on the forum can lead to a self-destruct.) Arranging a hockey game reminds me of going to a movie on a first date! No talking while sitting captive for a few hours!

For obvious reasons I thought of B&N, which offers a casual atmosphere with options nearby. There are at least 80 parking spots in front of the store and the large parking lot to the left of the store has 700-plus spaces! Personally, I don't think parking is a problem.

With that in mind, I'll be happy to meet anyone who wants to go to B&N on any Saturday in June. Other plans are okay with me. I just thought I'd get something actually started. If two people show, I'll have a great time meeting them. If twenty two appear- the better.

For those who want to meet at B&N, let's pick a Saturday. At this time, ANY Saturday in June is fine with me...
Just wanted to bump this up....any solid plans yet? I want 'IN'!!! I'll go anywhere!

I'm not big on fast food in general, but sometimes it's a necessary evil. I've had Subway before as they have them in my area and I've had to grab something at work. I'll probably bring a little something to nosh on on the way, and see if I can find something substantial on the way back. I really don't need all the bread anyway.

Default Well Paul...

Paul said that May would be better for him. May 23 was suggested and I can make it. So, I'll be at Barnes & Noble on the 23rd of May, around 2:30 P.M. Confirmations anyone?

Works for me too. Please let me know for sure though. Oh Paul, I hope you can make this date. It would be so nice to see you again before you leave. I am not so much into Lucky's. I did not find the food to be so good. I would be up for Grotto though.
