Question ARCHBALD in 1913/15

Is the SKS who can assist me with info on where to find info on why my great grandparents, who were living in Archbald in 1914 would have been deported back to Wales. Could it be that they were simply destitute.

Thanking you in ANTICIPATION

My mothers family moved from Ireland to Whales and then to Archbald. They would have been there at that time. In all honesty my mother who grew up there can rattle off half the residents, it was a very close nit town. You best bet would be to connect with an older resident or someone from St Thomas Aquinas, the catholic church there.

My Mom was born on the Number 5 hill as they called it in 1923. She knew everyone up there too. Sadly she passed away this past January. I think that is a great idea to use the Church as a resource.

My Gr-Grandparents were James and Margaret Price. James was 40 and Margaret was 2 years younger. My Grandmother was Helen or Ellen Jane. They also had Mabel aged 9 and Cassie 6 and baby James about 12 months. They apparently lived with brother in law Ed Humphreys at 11 Church St Archbald PA

I have tried to find a relationship of Humpheys but have been unsuccessful at this stage. Thank you so much to your reply.

Best Wishes

Val F
