The venue draws alot of tribute acts and ovr-the-hill rock groups, but some current stars play there as well. Jo Dee Messina played there last weekend. Also, there is a very interesting mix of musical acts at the Mauch Chunk Opera House

In the summer Penn's Peak has bands (no cover) out on the stone patio. It's unbelievable.
