That's the perception of alot of mobile homes, but my best friend lives in one - actually her inlaw's own the entire park - and they are much nicer than people think. Hers is in a neighborhood with streetlights, sidewalks, etc. Very, very nice.

She's got 4 bedrooms, two bathrooms, a small family room, a living room, dining room, eat in kitchen and two fireplaces. Not too shabby. I like it there.

We looked at some "mobile homes" though they looked like anything but the "trash trailers" of the past. They are very, very nice now. If the land and clearing didn't cost so much AND if we weren't so attached to WB we would buy one in a second.

Grandpas Woods is a really nice mobile home park - many if not most of the homes are double wides, and very well cared for. It's a 55+ community, but unfortunately, it's not that close to Scranton or Moscow. It's not far from Interstate 84, though - only a couple of miles. It's about a half hour or less from Scranton.
