I Miss Falling Springs outside of Pittston.....was my favorite place to go. The waterfall is at least 100 feet tall and the view is breathtaking from the top of the escarpment. You can see the Susquehanna river....rolling hills and Pittston in the background. The site is secluded and few people seem to be aware of its exixtence. If it is the right time of summer you can pick wild huckleberries......memories. lol

Bushkill Falls, Camelbeach, just driving around thru the area and taking in the scenery. Seeing a little bear cub running thru the corn fields.

Mind you I've only lived here less then a year but so far:

-The deck in the back of my house--sitting there drinking lemonade and relaxing.
-Tannersville Inn
-The flea market in Middle Smithfield
-Downtown Stroudsburg
-Super Walmart (don't have those in NJ)
-Tonino's Pizza
-Bamboo House in Middle S.
-Driving around on weekends and exploring all of the new places
-Greene-Berry's Gourmet Apples & Chocolate (I love chocolate and they make the best I've had, especially their chocolate peanut butter cups).

So many places that I've never been to and I'm a native!

I'd like to add The Kirby House in Glen Summit. Simply an amazing place for those who love photography and/or architecture. I love it there!

Osterhout Library has been a fave since I was a child.

Huh, you're right, I've never heard of it. Elevation and water, Mill Creek?

Oh, I found it. It's the other side.

It is past the old Coxton yards, I believe it is the terminus of the Falling Spring reservoir.
