I didn't think I would re visit this topic, but when animal cruelty becomes involved I think I may jump back into the frey.
Magritte 25 keeps insisting that there is no law against anoying people with loud booming music in their cars
I and countless others have pointed out the laws against disturbing the peace and she still refuses to accept that fact.
When the orriginal op reminded us that the topic was about impounding the vehicle it made me also guilty of animal cruelty.
So to be on topic I think that these selfish, ignorant, disrespectfull, morons should be taken to the police station put in a padded room and forced to listen to Tiny Tim sing tip toe thru the tulips on an endless loop for hours at a time.

I too cannot help myself......I think the Tiny Tim Torture is perfect.....we can try it instead of waterboarding any alleged terrorists. Though I think it may be even more cruel...lol...

I just spent the last 30 minutes reading the 114 posts before this one.
It all comes to being considerate of your neighbors. I, for one, like loud music in my car (factory radio), and I'll have it loud while driving on I-81 or US-11, but as soon as I turn into a residential street, I lower the volume. I expect to have peace and quiet in my own home, and when someone blasts their music into my home, I feel that my space is being violated.

Have a nice vacation!
Here, In Las Vegas, we have a noise patrol for our famous Las Vegas Strip aimed at boom cars. Those bicycle cops you see on the Strip are also authorized to make these arrests.

You see, it is a fine and a noise ordinance offense in some places. We rest our case.

I realize that. I disagree that it should be like that though.

Without going through the entire thread again, you do realize how much it could annoy people and if it's a violation of a noise ordinance in a certain town, they should be warned and then fined as such.

LOL...I do realize it's annoying. It annoys me. But lots of things do. I don't think annoying things should be fined.
