Thanks for posting this for others. I just want to add to those who see no offenders to relatively few in their area not to be lulled into a false sense of security. Most offenders are rarely, if ever, caught.

I would totally ignore that warning if one moved next to me. I'd harass the scumbag pervert so much, they'd leave in a hurry. Child molestors or anyone who even looks at a child in a sexual way are the lowest form of life on earth, and if I was in charge, they'd get the death penalty. At the very least, they should never be let out of prison....there is no reforming a pedophile....they will always have those urges.

I am in NO WAY defending those on the Megans Law web-site, but an 18 yr old having sex with his/her 16 yr old girlfriend/boyfriend can get him/herself on that web-site. It's not always the pedophile....

No it can't. a 16 year old is at the age of consent, and as long as the person they're with is not more than 3 years older than them, its legal....that prevents the whole "18 year old with a 16 year old" argument from ever becoming an issue.
