Default Help-transferring to the Hazleton area

I am searching the web for information on nice communities to live in around the Hazleton area. I have the usual preferences of: good school systems, housing options, entertainment, dining and shopping, but add to that a decent commute to Hazleton for my husband.

I will be coming from a city of 300,000, and although I prefer not to downsize I'm sure I will be. Can anyone recommend areas I can look into before heading out to PA? I'd like to have a focus.

I have two younger children whom I would like to find a suitable area for in terms of school/pre-school. I teach and hope to find a job as well.
OH...and good coffee shops...a must!

Thank you so much for a reply!!

Check out the Beech Mountain Lakes complex in Drums a few miles north of Hazleton. Very nice, quiet area and still near the shops.

Someone had mentioned a gated community near Hazelton called Cove @ green Mountain .......this might be a closer choice for someone working that way........just 7 mi. from the town, so I hear.
