You know everytime I go to Brooklyn to visit my parents I feel as if I've entered another timezone!! The traffic, the rudeness of the people, the rushing all the time, constant blowing of the horns when the light turns green, puts a smile on my face knowing it's only for a short time and I can come back to the quiet of the country and birds singing in the morning!! By the way, I'm a native Brooklynite and I don't miss it!! The only thing I miss is the Brooklyn I grew up in back in the late 60's - 70's.....those were some good times!!

Great pics. I kinda miss the city but I definitley dont miss the crowds, especially on 42nd Street or 34th Street. I really miss Macy's on 34th street, lol (I'm a shopaholic). NYC is really beautiful and has great architecture. You dont see the big buildings in NEPA but there are beautiful smaller building in Scranton. I think that you just have to appreciate what you have!

I love the pictures. LOVE them..........
I have a small area in my home with NYC things......Everything is in black and white in black frames.
One of the items is an old, old, Radio City program. It also has little color in it at all.
A favorite of mine is from a photographer that sent it to me ........ which was so sweet of him.
It is of Bryant Park, in black and white, with little shiny lights .......
I never tire of stopping on occasion to gaze at the wall.
New York is fun.....it is a joy to visit there.
With the electric buses, it sure smells better then years ago........and really........they beep a lot less then back when too. Its another World..........quite grand.
