Default Hotel Sterling & Ashley Huber Breaker Pictures

IMO, this site is pretty cool. The photog does Urban Exploration and takes photos of the sites he visits. They are all abandoned sites.

He visited the Sterling Hotel:

And The Ashley Huber Coal Breaker:

The B&W images in the article can all be found here, there's about 70 of them:

Historic American Buildings Survey/Historic American Engineering Record

If you're interested in seeing how the insides of a breaker works click the "Drawings" link. The very last one in the series of series of 7 describing the Menzies cone is probably the most interesting one.

I love those old pictures, seen some of them before.

Anybody know what the round building is between Main and Franklin, Northampton and South Sts. in Wilkes-Barre? It's next to the YMCA, at the back of the Army/Navy parking lot. It's been around for some time, not new.

I know what building you are talking about, but unfortunately do not know what it is...

Polaris is on a distinguished road
I love that picture of the Ashley breaker. My Grandfather worked there and so did my friends father and my father-in-law.
