Good luck Paul. It will be great for you and your career to experience something else besides NEPA and Scranton. You need this. See different places and do different things. You'll probably like it so much you'll never look back. Take care.

As someone who lives in NoVA now, but moving back to Scranton in a month, I wish you luck.
It does take a lot of guts to move away from your hometown. It was a necessary thing for me. Thankfully with the move, I received a free masters degree and was able to experience things I never would have living in NEPA.
I'm excited to get back. The traffic is brutal down here, everything is so expensive, but the area is beautiful. You have a good head on your shoulders and you should do well.
Remember though, down here, 10 miles does not equal 10 minutes.
More like 60.
