Hey Dan!! Thanks for the concern!!

We're fine here in southeast Fl....seems the north & central part got more than we did!!

Here's a link to a slideshow of the flooding up there...

Images: Coastal Flooding - Photos - WESH Orlando

We don't flood where I live...in '03 we got 26 inches of rain in 2 days & we didn't even have any standing water!! Inland of us, they were getting around in boats on the streets!! Our area is loaded with sugar sand, & it perks real fast!! (thank God!!) I still carry flood insurance though, in case of a tsunami....

I was getting worried about our lack of rain!! Mother Nature ALWAYS balances Herself, & I was afraid we were gonna get our rain-levels up in the form of a hurricane!! I'm REAL glad we got it this way!!

Thanks for thinkin' of us!!

It did look like you were far enough South............TG..Jungle George
I am so glad at this point that I sold the condo that was in Daytona..........I had first floor.......
I'm sure its under water now........Yikes.
I also looked at plenty in Ormond Beach......I loved it there. They had even MORE rain then Daytona.

We got a good share of rain the past 6 days, but not like last August with Fay!! Our area looked like Daytona then!! (But the jungle didn't flood then either...)

I have to check out your new blog...
