Hello All,
I once lived in Tunkhannock around 1972-1975 or so when my father was employed there with Proctor & Gamble. As a child, I remember my mother going to a clothing store, which I believe was downtown, and was owned by a gentleman whose name, I believe, was Zalapa or something like that. Does anyone on the forum from Tunkhannock remember anything like this?
We also lived right next to the house of the owner and I remember he had a son named Robert. I wish I could remember the address of the house we lived in. It would be nice to try to find a picture on Google maps or something to see what it looks like.
Anyhow, my memories are pretty limited to that and to the elementary school. I remember watching Mr. Magoo movie reels in kindergarten
Thanks!
